These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the FlatConnect society management platform. By accessing or using FlatConnect, societies and residents agree to comply with these terms.

1. Service Description

FlatConnect provides a web-based platform designed to assist housing societies with:

Maintenance billing generation
Online payment collection
Accounting transparency
Complaint management
Notice publishing
Financial reporting
Audit-ready documentation

FlatConnect acts as a software service provider and not as a financial institution or banking entity.

2. Society Account Registration

A society account must be created by an authorized representative such as:

Society Chairman
Secretary
Treasurer
Authorized committee member

The society administrator is responsible for managing resident records and platform usage.

3. Resident Account Access

Resident accounts are created by the society administrator. FlatConnect may send login invitations to residents on behalf of the society.

Residents are responsible for protecting their login credentials and ensuring secure access to their accounts.

4. Payments & Transactions

FlatConnect facilitates payment tracking and records. All transactions are handled through authorized payment gateways.

FlatConnect does not store banking credentials or act as a financial intermediary.

5. Data & Privacy

User data is handled securely. Certain financial records may be retained for audit and legal compliance purposes.

6. Limitation of Liability

FlatConnect shall not be held liable for disputes between residents and societies or for any financial discrepancies.
